12 July, Amsterdam – The SUPER73-RX custom bike, designed through a collaborative partnership with Spray.Bike and chosen by popular vote, showcase the accessibility and creativity of bike customization while featuring an eye-catching design brought to life by the joint effort of the Spray.Bike and HALO teams. The winning design came from Davide Trevisan of Venice, Italy.  This custom is special as it was designed by one of SUPER73’s newest community members.

“For me - born at the end of Generation X - the 80's and the 90's are a great source of inspiration and a motive in my designs: vivid colors and simple patterns are fundamental to bring positive vibes and a holiday attitude. I then went to the Spray.Bike website and looked for bright colors that you could find in a Vision Skateboarding deck and mixed them with a fluo-animalier-tiger skin pattern that was recurring in the old MTV logo,” said design winner Trevisan. “Thank you, everyone, for your votes, comments, appreciation, and support! I can't wait to do a wheelie with it!”

Spray.Bike is a collective effort by three companies: Brick Lane Bikes, Vicious Cycles Athens, and Cosmos Lac. They aim to make bike customization accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level.

During the design contest, hundreds of amazing designs were received. However, there could only be one winner. The contest involved its followers by having them vote for their favorite design. Subsequently, SUPER73 invited the Spray.Bike team to its headquarters in the Netherlands, where they collaborated with the HALO team to bring the design to life.

About Twotone Amsterdam

The roots of Twotone go back in 2007, when Twotone’s founder – Jon Woodroof – cofounded a fixed-gear focused bike shop in Atlanta, GA named No Brakes. His clothes nearly always matched his track bike & he earned the nickname Twotone. Jon cut his teeth on promoting his own shop, the brands they sold, and even suppliers, athletes, and other organisations they partnered with all before Instagram!

Those entrepreneurial roots grew into the hold your line, you'll be fine full-send approach to how we run our business today. A 10-year-old nickname became a Dutch BV in 2014 & Twotone has become THE one-stop-shop for cycling-savvy sales, marketing, and PR across Europe in the USA.

Over the course of the past nearly 9 years of helping brands find their way & have their say, we’re grateful for the successes, lessons, and trust! Schedule a meeting to learn more!
