Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 19 October 2023 – The Estonian e-bike producer announced a new location for its Amsterdam Pop-Up, now in the city center under the railroad tracks next to artist ateliers at WorkSpace Six. All five of its lightweight urban e-bikes are available for test rides. The direct-to-consumer e-bike company continues to sell its bikes online, but the doors are now open at a new location for the Ampler experience.
Opening this new location in Amsterdam is a great fit for Ampler. Located in WorkSpace Six, in the same building as our long-term agency partner Twotone Consulting, we now have a great location within the bike community,Tuuli Jevstignejev, Chief Marketing Officer of Ampler Bikes.
We are very excited to welcome Ampler into Workspace Six, our under the tracks of Amsterdam Centraal hub for cycling culture. Having the entire Ampler lineup here adds to the bicycle haven aura of our office and is a welcoming environment for their customers. Twotone has been working shoulder-to-shoulder with Ampler since its launch in the Netherlands in 2018, and this is a great continuation of the story. Ampler’s e-bikes are industry-leading when it comes to reliability and innovation. Each unique model can be customized and serviced anywhere to meet rider needs.Jon Woodroof, Founder of Twotone Consulting and Owner of WorkSpace Six.
Customers can schedule appointments to test-ride all Ampler models here, and a post-test ride voucher €250 is available for everyone who completes a test ride, valid until 31/10/2023. In addition, a special campaign is available for the yellow Juna and Blue Axel until end of the month, offering €500 off for in-stock models. Basic service is available at Workspace Six, with fully certified service partners to be announced.
This model is the e-bike producer’s most relaxed e-bike yet. Now available in four colours, the limited edition Pink and Mint, along with Moon Grey and Sunrise Yellow, it pairs a high-performance motor with a relaxed upright geometry and a convenient low-step frame that makes cycling stable and safe. The frames are suited for riders starting at 150 cm, making it one of the most inclusive bikes in the industry today. Equipped with 27,5” rims and 50 mm puncture-protected tires, the ride is safe and comfortable on almost any surface. Juna includes internal cable routing and an improved battery integrated into the downtube, which you can remove for servicing. The integrated Trelock fender-rear lights have a brake light function, and the brighter front lights from Busch & Müller make the bikes visible even in the harshest conditions. A rear carrier and trailer adapter are available optionally.
The sporty geometry of Ampler Curt is designed for fast moves, and the straight handlebar makes it highly responsive. Available as a single-speed and 11-speed, the e-bike is perfect for quick commutes and workout rides. Thanks to a carbon fork and minimalist design, the Curt weighs just 14.4 kg (single-speed) and 15.7 kg (11-speed), making it one of the world's lightest, if not the most lightweight, commuter e-bikes. Under the minimalistic skin, the Curt still has everything you need for your daily commutes - a more robust front light and bright LEDs integrated into the seat post, full fenders, and an optional rear carrier. The bike comes in Purple Void and Matte Black colors and in three frame sizes designed for riders from 160 to 198 cm in height.
This model combines lightness, smooth ride, and convenience. Its semi-upright riding position, ergonomic grips, and saddle offer high comfort but still an active feel. Equipped with 9 gears and Ampler’s high-torque rear motor, climbing uphill is a breeze for any ride. The new frame comes in smaller frame sizes that make it accessible for more riders. Now wider, 47 mm Top Contact II tires by Continental offer high puncture resistance to minimize the risk of having a flat tire on your way. High-performance Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes and other high-quality components ensure that Stellar delivers all that is expected from it - as a true all-rounder would. Taking into account everything it has to offer, Stellar is featherweight at 17.8 kg. The Stellar comes in either Pearl Black, Racing Red, or Midnight Blue color and in two frame sizes designed for riders from 160 to 185 cm in height.
The Ampler Axel’s active riding position delivers the balance between sporty and relaxed, making the ride feel active and responsive. Its dynamic motor support makes cycling silent and effortless - setting new standards for cycling in the city. Axel is equipped with 27,5” rims and 50 mm puncture-protected tires, which make the ride safe and comfortable on almost any surface. The Axel also has internal cable routing and a battery integrated into the downtube, which can be removed for servicing. The new integrated Trelock fender-rear lights now have a brake light function, and the brighter front lights from Busch & Müller make the bikes visible even in the toughest conditions. Like the Juna, a rear carrier and trailer adapter are available optionally. The bike comes in Rock Green or Nordic Blue colors and in two frame sizes designed for riders from 170 to 200 cm in height.
The Stout shares most of the components with the Stellar but still takes its unique stand. It is a loyal companion everywhere you go. At 17.8 kg, Stout is a lot lighter than most of the e-bikes out there and rides well even if you happen to run out of charge. The bike comes in Merlot Red, Evergreen, or Pearl Black colors and in two frame sizes designed for riders from 170 to 200 cm in height. If you are looking for a carefree and versatile electric bike for your daily commute and more, Stout should be your choice.
