Londonderry / Amsterdam – 30/10/23 – Velocio announced today the availability of the Trail Access Hardshell, a jacket equipped with Pertex Shield Air membrane that blocks the wind and the rain, allowing the body to breathe and moist to evaporate– 10k waterproof column, 30k breathability.
The Pertex Shield Air membrane uses a precise network of nanoscale pores to allow air movement without letting wind or water in. The result is extreme breathability in the harshest conditions. Its 3D fit and helmet-compatible hood excel in riding position, with movement built through the shoulders, snug-fit cuffs, and a drop tail for extra protection.
Most membranes used in the cycling industry are made out of chemicals that stay in our ecosystems way longer than we would like to. Velocio wants to change this, as they say, “We want to ride forever, which means doing away with forever chemicals.”
The TRAIL Access Hardshell delivers on this commitment by featuring a C0 DWR and a polyester membrane, eliminating any PFCs or PFAs from the product while maintaining its ability to shed water.
- Air permeable for high output activity, 10k waterproof/30k breathability, nano spun membrane technology, Quantum Air face, micro-tricot back.
- Two zippered stow pockets - 1 front internal pocket with media port, one rear with waterproof zipper - for keeping valuables accessible
