SUPER73 announces the release of a custom bike in collaboration with Hellfest, Savage Lands, and Vendée Marine

SUPER73 is unveiling a unique custom model in collaboration with Hellfest, Savage Lands, and Vendée Marine to fight against deforestation.

Amsterdam, NL, June 19, 2024 - Super73 is a California-based company founded in 2016, specializing in retro-styled ebikes inspired by motorcycles. They are known for their robust, high-performance, and stylish bikes, offering a unique and attractive riding experience for various users, from bike enthusiasts to urban trendsetters.

Savage Lands:

Savage Lands is an NGO dedicated to the protection of biodiversity and wild ecosystems worldwide. It works on conservation projects, reforestation, and the protection of endangered species. By collaborating with local communities, scientists, and volunteers, Savage Lands aims to promote a sustainable future and raise public awareness about the importance of preserving wild nature. In addition to an NGO working for the protection of the ecosystem, Savage Lands is an associative group including musicians such as Andreas KISSER (Sepultura), Dirk VERBEUREN (Megadeth) or John TARDY (Obituary). The fact that this group is attached to an NGO and not a music label means that 100% of the royalties and profits of their concerts will directly finance their actions.

By listening to Savage Lands on the usual platforms, you finance reforestation.

Hellfest:

For the uninitiated, Hellfest is an annual metal music festival held in Clisson, France, attracting thousands of extreme music fans from around the world. Launched in 2006, it is renowned for its eclectic lineup, ranging from heavy metal to punk hardcore. Hellfest has become a must-attend event for any alternative music enthusiast, offering a unique experience with performances by legendary and emerging bands alike.

As a member of the Hellfest supporters' club and a SUPER73 dealer, we wanted to create a collaboration for the 2024 festival. SUPER73 e-bikes are unique and perfectly align with the Hellfest spirit. We developed two projects: creating a unique bike with SUPER73 and Savage Lands for the NGO's cause and a fleet of custom Hellfest bikes for quick and silent movement during the festival. Alexis TARTEAUT (Vendée Marine)

Vendée Marine:

Vendée Marine is a company specializing in the sale of boats, based in Vendée, France. They offer a wide range of new and used boats, as well as maintenance and repair services. The company is known for its expertise and high-quality customer service! Also Super 73 Dealer for E-bikes and FLITE for E-foils, clearly a concept store specialized in toys for older children.

Here is the unique model born from the Hellfest/SUPER73/Vendée Marine/Savage Lands collaboration, a limited edition that will be up for grabs at the Festival at the Savage Lands stand to raise funds for reforestation.

The Bike in Detail:

This crazy project started with a Black Out RX from SUPER73. It features a fully custom extended seat with weather-resistant fabric embroidered with Hellfest and Savage Lands logos. The green leather parts match the bike's spring, as well as its grips and special Hellfest camouflage pattern. If you ever feel the need to bring your own drinks, the flask holder and custom Hellfest flask are ready for your beverage! But please, don’t drink and ride… ;)

The horde of customs bikes Hellfest/Vendée Marine were created on the basis of Super 73 R Blackout SE and Z Adventure by taking the typo of the festival and the codes of the 2024 edition, perhaps a future limited edition to come Alexis TARTEAUT (Vendée Marine)

About Twotone Amsterdam

The roots of Twotone go back in 2007, when Twotone’s founder – Jon Woodroof – cofounded a fixed-gear focused bike shop in Atlanta, GA named No Brakes. His clothes nearly always matched his track bike & he earned the nickname Twotone. Jon cut his teeth on promoting his own shop, the brands they sold, and even suppliers, athletes, and other organisations they partnered with all before Instagram!

Those entrepreneurial roots grew into the hold your line, you'll be fine full-send approach to how we run our business today. A 10-year-old nickname became a Dutch BV in 2014 & Twotone has become THE one-stop-shop for cycling-savvy sales, marketing, and PR across Europe in the USA.

Over the course of the past nearly 9 years of helping brands find their way & have their say, we’re grateful for the successes, lessons, and trust! Schedule a meeting to learn more!
