Chiru, the French brand specializing in titanium solutions, launched its latest platform for high-paced gravel, the Allure, adding to its current 13
Paris/Amsterdam— 28/03/25, 18:00 CET—Chiru launches its newest platform today, The Allure, focusing on fast gravel rides where power transfer and agility are key to moving fast both on the ground and within the bunch.
After 16 years in the market and starting the titanium adventure with its model Divider, Chiru has produced everything from double-suspension titanium solutions to all-road, always with a clear focus on the adventure and ultra-distance aspects of cycling, where power transfer, comfort, and reliability enable cyclists to go longer, stronger, and faster.
Called the Allure, following the French concept of elegance and ‘vivid pace’, the Allure is the first bike in the range not dedicated to bikepacking and ultra-distance but fast-paced and ‘shorter’ distances. It is also the first model with fully integrated cable routing.
Chiru accomplishes this by keeping a longer base wheel but making the rear triangle smaller and stiffer. The Allure allows a better power transfer while giving the front triangle more vibration-dumping capabilities for all those races where the watch never stops before lunchtime. The tubing and design have been optimized to reduce weight, tubing accounting for 1/3rd of the weight savings, while the other 2/3rd comes from the optimized design of H/T, Drop Out / Heat tube, and cable routing concept, making the Allure the lightest of the Chirus while keeping the same longer, stronger, and faster motto.
Titanium is still the best material to achieve the optimal balance between comfort and lightness while allowing very precise engineering that gives the right stiffness where needed, without leaving outside of the equation the abuse that bikes take on the ultra-distance races and rough weather conditions. In our core design philosophy, comfort is performance, whether it is due to technical terrains or long saddle hours; dumping capabilities are key for muscular performance.Pierre Arnaud Le Magnan, Founder & CEO
The Chiru Brigade has been crucial in developing this new platform. They constantly give feedback on how each platform performs and what spots need to be filled with future product development.
Since early 2024, it was clear that gravel racing was probably one of the few spots left in Chiru's roaster and on Pierre's mind to bring a proposal that still has something to say to all those riders on the hunt for a gravel-fast-pace-kilometers-eater machine.
- Ti Tubesets in Grade 9 with triple butting for front triangle.
- Frame weight : 1.55kg.
- Tire clearance: 700x45c for frame, 700x64c for CEC #380T-G fork and 700x43c for ENVE All road fork.
The bike will be first seen at Cycling World Düsseldorf, where a Classified set-up will showcase the newest technology from the Belgian brand in two different builds that highlight the versatility of this platform.
Founded in 2009, CHIRU focuses on designing and testing bikes that balance power transfer, comfort, and reliability, enabling cyclists to go longer, faster, and stronger. Their mission is to inspire riders to push boundaries, experience joy, and share their achievements with a community of passionate riders shaping tomorrow's racing wild landscape.
