25 June 2025 - Ghent based Remco Tools, founded by Mathias Ellegiers (Belgium) and Ryan Liverman (US), announced the availability of manufacturer of Bike Lift, an electric assembly stand that makes bicycle repairs much more efficient and ergonomic. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 45 kg.
Available in the European Union since September 2024, it offers a solution to the growing challenge in bicycle workshops: the safe and easy handling of heavy electric bicycles and cargo bikes.
What was once a niche product for large workshops with a budget of more than €2,000 (such as the Power Lift from Park Tool) is now affordable and accessible to everyone. Remco Tools is headquartered in Ghent and a distribution center in Temse, allowing fast delivery within Belgium.
The rise of electric bicycles has made maintenance harder. An average city bike weighs 15 kg, while an e-bike quickly weighs 30 kg or more. Remco Tools saw how mechanics struggle with hanging heavy bicycles daily, and decided to develop a solution based on their experience in the furniture sector.
The Bike Lift automatically lifts bicycles to the ideal working height, making repairs faster and less stressful for the mechanic. After a successful launch in the US, the product is now ready for the Belgian market.
The Bike Lift is in stock and will be delivered directly from the Belgian distribution center. Price: €595 excl. VAT. Available in Belgium.
Remco Tools will be at Eurobike (Hall 11.1) where interested bicycle dealers and distributors can attend a live demonstration. If you would like to book a meeting with Mathias at Eurobike please schedule here.
