INDIANAPOLIS, IN [EMBARGO Jan 13th 2026] – SILCA, leader in marginal gains, and known for its dedication to precision and quality in cycling products, today announced the launch of its Ultimate Tubeless Valves and Ultimate Tubeless Rim Tape, two premium products engineered to work seamlessly together as part of SILCA’s now complete tubeless system, including their Ultimate Sealant. Designed to improve installation, airflow, durability, and long-term serviceability, the new products deliver a reliable foundation for modern tubeless setups across road, gravel, and mountain bikes.
The Ultimate Tubeless Valves are engineered for high airflow, compatibility with tire inserts, and dependable long-term performance. Featuring a large internal bore diameter, optimized insert-compatible base channels, the valves maintain unrestricted airflow even when used with tire inserts, making tire seating faster and more reliable. The low-profile base is broached to accept a 4mm hex key for easy installation, and the conical rubber base washer improves sealing while protecting rim finishes. A built-in valve core remover in the aluminum valve cap ensures roadside service is always within reach.
Available in 50mm and 70mm lengths, SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Valves are sized for modern rim profiles, including deep-section rims. Precision-machined alloy construction and a 4mm hex key installation interface provide controlled torque and rim-safe installs, setting them apart from conventional tubeless valves. Each package includes two Presta valves and is backed by SILCA’s Limited Warranty.
Complementing the valves is the new Ultimate Tubeless Rim Tape, engineered to eliminate common tubeless failure points such as tearing, stretching, leaking, and frustrating adhesive residue. The tape features a triple-ply construction combining high-strength, high-stretch, and abrasion-resistant layers made from a multi-layer composite of PET, PU, and a proprietary abrasion-resistant top film. This construction delivers exceptional durability while conforming precisely to modern rim beds.
"As SILCA grows, we’re moving beyond being known as just a pump brand. Expanding into wax, lubricants, and cleaners showed us how often products in this industry are developed in isolation. Rim tapes have been historically created to work well enough to just be a stock option with wheels; no further thought on how well it works with sealants or valves. Our approach is different: we build the right foundations, designed for cohesive systems consumers can truly trust, said Richard Pool, Marketing Director at SILCA. "Being small and agile lets us do the work the right way, even when it costs more, the result is better products, like our now complete tubeless system."
SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Rim Tape is pressure-rated up to 120 psi (8.3 bar) and performs reliably across a wide temperature range from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). The advanced adhesive bonds securely to both carbon and alloy rims, yet removes cleanly with no residue, streamlining service at the shop level with far quicker clean up. Balanced stiffness and stretch ensure frustration-free installation, even on tight rim profiles, while included finishing patches deliver a clean, professional-grade result.
Ultimate Tubeless Rim Tape is offered in two simplified sizes—27mm for rims with 23–27mm internal widths and 32mm for rims with 28–32mm internal widths. Covering the majority of modern road, gravel, and mountain bike wheels. Each 10-meter roll provides enough tape to wrap four 700c wheels with a single ply or two wheels with a double ply.
Together, the Ultimate Tubeless Valves and Ultimate Tubeless Rim Tape form the backbone of SILCA’s complete tubeless system, designed to integrate seamlessly with SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Sealant with FiberFoam® and the SILCA Sealant Injector. The result is a cohesive, premium solution that prioritizes reliability, ease of installation, and long-term serviceability for riders and professional mechanics alike.
