COPENHAGEN, Denmark / Amsterdam, The Netherlands – OMNIUM, the European cargo bike specialists based in Copenhagen, are proud to announce the official launch of their latest urban essential: the Nano. Designed in Denmark for agile city living and tackling daily errands with zero fuss, the Nano is their most compact loader yet.
The Nano is a bike for the modern urban dweller. OMNIUM designed it with a smaller footprint to make it easier to navigate cramped living quarters and integrate seamlessly with public transportation. By ditching the car for the Nano, those longer daily distances become a breeze.
"While the bike might be small, the cargo capacity isn’t," says the Omnium design team. "Hauling big loads has never been snappier".
The Nano has already proven it's worth at the 2025 Cycle Messenger World Championships in Sydney. (CMWC) (OMNIUM's CEO, Matias, won the championship!)
The Nano is built around two 20" wheels with 2.15" tires and a shorter wheelbase. This setup delivers a snappy ride feel and gets you up to speed faster, essential for the start-and-stop nature of city riding. Despite its compact size, the Nano is a workhorse, featuring a double-butted Chromoly steel frame and a rack that can handle up to 40kg. The total maximum loading weight, including the rider, stands at a robust 125kg.
Theu’ve integrated more standards from our legendary Cargo and Mini-Max V3 models, making the Nano compatible with a huge range of accessories. From the Tilting Rack Bracket for an even smaller parking footprint to the specific Nano Webbing, this bike is ready for anything.
