Winners Spotlight

The highlight of the day was the highly anticipated awards ceremony, celebrating the pinnacle of craftsmanship and innovation in bespoke bicycle creation. Each piece, a testament to the talent and ingenuity of its creator, stood as a considered work in its own right, yet as a bike show, it’s not without an aura of friendly competition, and the Bespoked Awards motivate creators to go above and beyond each year.

The inclusion of new award categories and special recognitions like the Mike Burrows Award for Innovation and the SRAM Scholarship Award underscored the show’s commitment to celebrating diverse and pioneering talents.

In an industry ripe for growth, and with a deep-rooted community, the prize categories were carefully evaluated by teams of judges throughout the day. Each first-placed award was determined based on criteria such as beauty, craftsmanship, functionality, and innovation. Winners were presented with a unique, hand-picked, cruelty-free trophy, consisting of a ribbon and a garden-fresh vegetable, thoughtfully curated by organizer Petor 'Green Thumb' Georgallou. Each vegetable was chosen for its geometry, weight, freshness, and crisp, adding a humorous (and vegetarian) twist to the awards, sponsored by Dynaplug.

Grassroots Growth & Industry Attention

On the heels of our Manchester show and now in our 13th year, the 2nd annual Bespoked Dresden Handmade Bicycle Show, with such a high press response, impressive attendance, and increased exhibitors underscores the appeal and significance of this corner of the cycling industry. The cycling industry and community here in Saxony and beyond are not just helping support the show but continuing to put Dresden on the map as a place where art, craftsmanship and a shared passion for bikes converge. We're thrilled to share this experience with every attendee. Petor Georgallou, Bespoked Organizer

Bespoked is open from today Saturday October 19th until 6pm as well as tomorrow the 20th at Dresden Airport on both mezzanine levels, easily reached through the main airport entrance.

About Twotone Amsterdam

The roots of Twotone go back in 2007, when Twotone’s founder – Jon Woodroof – cofounded a fixed-gear focused bike shop in Atlanta, GA named No Brakes. His clothes nearly always matched his track bike & he earned the nickname Twotone. Jon cut his teeth on promoting his own shop, the brands they sold, and even suppliers, athletes, and other organisations they partnered with all before Instagram!

Those entrepreneurial roots grew into the hold your line, you'll be fine full-send approach to how we run our business today. A 10-year-old nickname became a Dutch BV in 2014 & Twotone has become THE one-stop-shop for cycling-savvy sales, marketing, and PR across Europe in the USA.

Over the course of the past nearly 9 years of helping brands find their way & have their say, we’re grateful for the successes, lessons, and trust! Schedule a meeting to learn more!
