Omnium and Carhartt WIP Partner to Launch Limited-Edition Stainless Steel Cargo Bike

COPENHAGEN 17 September 2026 — Omnium and Carhartt WIP have officially announced a highly limited collaborative cargo bike, the Omnium x Carhartt WIP Mini-Max. Limited to just 150 pieces, this special-edition release will be available in three sizes (S, M, L) and sold exclusively online for customers in the European Union (EU). The Omnium x Carhartt WIP Mini-Max will retail for 4500€ and is available for purchase on 24 September.

While based on Omnium’s signature Mini-Max model, this frame deviates from the brand's standard chromoly steel construction. Instead, it is crafted entirely from stainless steel. This material choice allows the frame to feature a simple clear coat that preserves the appearance of the raw steel, leaving the high-quality welds and natural, temperature-induced welding color changes completely visible. Paired with acid yellow and black details, the bicycle delivers a distinctly utilitarian, tool-like appearance.

Premium custom components complete the build. The Omnium x Carhartt WIP Mini-Max features high-quality, custom co-branded DT Swiss wheels, alongside a custom-branded saddle and grips.

Each bicycle comes equipped with a set of special edition MKS x Carhartt WIP XC-III “bear trap” pedals. The pedals serve as a nod to both the early days of mountain biking and Carhartt WIP’s history in BMX. This specific pedal design—used with permission from Blue Lug Japan—features custom C-logo shaped cutouts in the cages, a custom matte-black color, and embossed branding that is hand-painted yellow. For those not purchasing the complete bicycle, these special edition pedals will also be made available separately for 85€.

Launching alongside the bicycle is a capsule of branded merchandise and apparel items. The collection includes a collaborative t-shirt 50€, sweatshirt 90€, and a Nalgene 35€water bottle, all featuring custom co-branding to complement the aesthetic of the limited-edition cargo bike.
